Job description

In cardiovascular surgery, exceptional outcomes depend on seamless coordination before, during, and after some of the most complex procedures in medicine. This role places you at the center of that journey, partnering closely with renowned cardiac and vascular surgery teams to ensure patients receive outstanding, highly specialized care every step of the way.

nAs a Registered Nurse Care Coordinator in UVA Health's Cardiac & Vascular Surgery Clinic, you will support a growing, high-acuity practice that cares for patients undergoing advanced cardiac and vascular procedures. n

nnSupport post-operative follow-up and help address care coordination needs during recovery.

n

nnUtilize telehealth and virtual care tools to enhance patient access and continuity of care.

n

nnCollaborate with colleagues across Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Structural Heart, and TAVR programs.

n

nnGain experience with advanced procedures and leading-edge therapies typically found only in premier academic medical centers.

n

nnLearn from physician leaders who are deeply committed to education, mentoring, and professional development.

n

nnJoin a close-knit, collaborative team of nurses, care coordinators, navigators, and clinical support professionals.

n

nnBenefit from a supportive leadership approach that values accountability, flexibility, and teamwork.

n

nnEnjoy flexible scheduling options , including a traditional Monday through Friday schedule or four 10-hour shifts.

n

nnPotential opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement based on operational needs and team coverage.

n

nnPlay a vital role in coordinating care for some of the most medically complex cardiovascular patients in the region.
