nnSchedule: Day Shift l PRN

n

n nHow you'll make an impact in this role

nnnProvide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

n

nnAssess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.

n

nnPrepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.

n

nnPerform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.

n

nnPerform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

n

n nWhat minimum requirements you'll need

nLicensure / Certification / Registration:

nnnAdvanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

n

nnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

n

nnLicensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

n

n nEducation:

nnDiploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

n nAdditional Preferences:

nn1 year of cath lab experience preferred.
