Must-Have:
Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology is mandatory.
Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is required.
Description:
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Candidates must have experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
RNs will be scheduled for four 10-hour days per week.
The shift timing is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The average call shifts will be 8 to 10 per month, inclusive of one to two weekends based on the schedule.
Pending licenses are not accepted.
Requests for time off should be close to one week.
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
RNs will work with patients requiring cardiac catheterizations, either diagnostic or interventional.
Procedures may include cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and various interventional catheterizations.
RNs will monitor vital signs and administer medications as needed.
Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
Patient diagnoses will include cardiac patients as well as interventional radiology cases requiring drains and biopsies.
The unit encourages collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Scrubs will be provided.
