Job description
Embark on an impactful assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab, working in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity in Alabama is ideal for an experienced RN looking to advance their skills by providing critical care to patients undergoing specialized cardiac procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Unencumbered RN license
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab RN
Advanced knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, protocols, and equipment
Proven ability to manage patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and document all care accurately
Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab equipment and sterile field
Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions
Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times
Respond quickly to emergencies and assist with resuscitation if needed

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
