Job description
An exciting nursing opportunity is available for an experienced RN with a strong background in the Cath Lab. This contract role supports vital cardiovascular care services, providing a dynamic and fulfilling environment for a dedicated nursing professional.
Schedule and Call Requirements:
1 weekend of call coverage per month
4-5 weekday on-call shifts per pay period (weekends are part of this total)
On-call shifts run from end of shift to 07:30, Monday through Friday, as scheduled
Weekend call runs from end of shift Friday through 07:30 Monday
Key Qualifications: Current, unencumbered RN license
Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab experience
Proficiency with cardiovascular intervention procedures
Advanced knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and patient assessment
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered nursing care throughout the catheterization laboratory process
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Handle and maintain specialized Cath Lab equipment and supplies
Respond rapidly to emergent situations and provide exceptional crisis management
Ensure compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards

$2,251 - $2,381/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
