Job description

This contract opportunity seeks a skilled nursing professional or technologist with a proven background in Cath Lab settings. Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with full-time hours
Qualifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications
CVT with RCIS required
Minimum of 4 years' Cath Lab experience
Competency in scrubbing cases, balloon pump management, and room turnover
Experience with patient transport, assistance, and manifold operations
Flexibility to float to OR for vascular cases or occasionally to other cath labs as needed
Open to well-qualified first-time travelers (reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
Responsibilities: Prepare and assist in complex cath lab procedures, supporting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases
Maintain and calibrate cath lab equipment, promptly addressing technical issues
Assist with room setup and turnover between cases to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
Support patient movement and positioning, following all infection control and safety protocols
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, floating to other departments as assigned for specialized procedures
