Job description
Advance your nursing career by providing expert care in the dynamic environments of both the Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Radiology. This contract opportunity offers a collaborative setting focused on exceptional patient outcomes and cutting-edge cardiovascular and radiological procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license
A minimum of two years of recent experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology setting
Proficient in cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, and circulatory support devices
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-acuity scenarios
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Schedule: Full-time contracted hours
Shifts and on-call rotation as required by department needs
Primary Responsibilities: Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and IR Suite
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal care and safety
Administer medications and manage IV lines, sedation, and patient vitals
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with facility protocols
Contribute to process improvements and uphold infection control standards
