About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the CC Older Adult Unit provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to patient care and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

What You\'ll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
Perform age and disease specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Requirements
**Education:**
Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
**Experience:**
Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
**Licenses & Certifications:**
Current and valid Registered Nurse license in NJ
BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
