Job description
Role Overview:
Critical Care RN within a float team providing high-acuity care across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities Include
Delivering evidence-based, individualized patient care using the full nursing process.
Managing complex, high-acuity patients with clinical expertise and confidence.
Safely administering medications, infusions, and treatments.
Responding promptly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
Partnering with patients and families for education, advocacy, and empowerment.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Active RN license (compact or single state).
BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years recent Critical Care experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU).
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work calmly under pressure, adapt easily, and collaborate effectively.
