What You'll Do
Provide rapid triage, thorough assessments, and emergency intervention for patients across varying acuities.
Assist in procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular and emergency conditions.
Actively monitor cardiac rhythm, heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels during emergency care.
Promptly identify changes in patient condition and communicate updates to attending physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and diagnostic testing according to facility protocols.
Prepare emergency procedure areas, maintain strict aseptic fields, and ensure proper handling of specialized equipment.
Assist with room setup, patient transport, post-procedure care, and infection control standards.
Educate patients and family members on post-care instructions, catheter insertion site maintenance, and recovery guidelines.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or active Compact RN license).
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Strong critical thinking, rapid assessment abilities, and emergency intervention skills.
Ability to transition seamlessly into new clinical teams, facility workflows, and EMR systems.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety and dignity.
