Job description
This position is eligible for a commitment bonus! $20,000 for experienced RNs, and $10,000 for new graduate RNs.
Schedule: 3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Mid Shift (12p - 12a) + rotating weekends

Our Emergency Department is a rural, 20-bed unit serving Rutherford County and surrounding communities with responsive, patient-centered emergency care. This is a great environment for an ED nurse who enjoys variety, critical thinking, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit community hospital setting. Nurses care for patients across a wide range of acuity levels and work closely with providers, ancillary departments, and inpatient teams to support timely assessment, treatment, stabilization, and transition of care. The department is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a supportive culture where communication, collaboration, and quality outcomes are valued. Work-life balance is also important to us, and we proudly offer self-scheduling. How you'll contribute
Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi‑state (compact) license).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire
Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
One year of RN experience as an Emergency Department RN required.
