ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE
The Registered Nurse (RN) works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will work to improve overall patient satisfaction and well-being by demonstrating and living the company values: Compassion, Above & Beyond, Generosity, Integrity, and Teamwork. In addition, this role will attend to general nursing care to patients by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Triages patients concerns to determine appropriate care needed
Performs clinical procedures, such as injections, wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertion/removal, and administering breathing treatments
Responds to lifesaving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
Clinical Administration
Responds to patient telephone inquiries and provider requests regarding medical concerns, lab results, refills, and referrals
Provides provider coverage by determining urgency of pending lab results, diagnostic imaging, and medication refills requested
