Job description
Heart Hospital of Austin seeks a Registered Nurse for our Facility Float Pool – Critical Care. This RN will provide expert, compassionate care to high-acuity cardiovascular and critical care patients while floating between ICU, step-down, and related units. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, titration of critical drips, ventilator management, early recognition of deterioration, and rapid intervention. The RN will collaborate closely with cardiologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams, support procedures, educate patients and families, and uphold strict safety, infection prevention, and documentation standards in a fast-paced, team-focused, learning-oriented environment.
