About This Role
The Registered Nurse Float position at Hackensack Meridian Health involves providing comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool setting. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to delivering high-quality care.

What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments.
Requirements
Education
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg/Tele RN experience required
Licenses & Certifications
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required
Active BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
