About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Gynecology Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital is responsible for providing proficient nursing care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and managing patient care effectively. This full-time position is ideal for nurses with relevant experience in gynecology and a commitment to patient-centered care.

What You'll Do
Identify, facilitate, and evaluate outcomes of nursing care for patients.
Communicate the plan of care and pertinent information to health team members.
Participate in performance improvement activities for the unit.
Teach and direct nursing personnel as applicable.
Participate in the orientation of new staff members.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Requirements
Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
2 years of relevant nursing experience (med-surg, ambulatory, inpatient) required
Experience in OB/GYN and/or ambulatory experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in Massachusetts required
