About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Heart and Vascular Prep/Recovery, Cath Lab provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to patient care and possess strong critical thinking skills.

Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift
What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition.
Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately.
Requirements
Education:
BSN preferred and/or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
Experience:
6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
2+ years of nursing experience highly desired.
Telemetry and critical care experience highly desired.
1 year of Cath Lab experience highly desired.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
ACLS certification strongly preferred.
