About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the High Risk Antepartum unit provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to patient care and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop and coordinate a patient/family focused plan of care.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
Adhere to established protocols and document patient care accurately.
Requirements
Education:Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience:Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications:Current and valid registered nurse license in New Jersey
BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
