nRegistered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:
nDevelop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
nConduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
nOversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
nSupervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
nProvide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
nManage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.
nRegistered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements: Must Haves:
nRequired: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
nRequired: CPR Certification
nPreferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
nClinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
nIV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
nWound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management).
nSales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
nLeadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
nCare Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
nQuality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
nProblem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
nFlexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies
nNice to Have:
nHome Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care’s business model is a plus
