Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our hospital team on the night shift.
This role involves providing safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical and higher-acuity cases. The nurse assesses patient needs, develops and implements individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient conditions, and communicates changes effectively. Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members is essential to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications Include
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Unrestricted RN license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and respond effectively in emergency situations
Preferred experience in ER or ICU settings is a plus. The role requires working 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., including rotating weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Providing compassionate patient care and monitoring conditions
Carrying out physician orders and documenting accurately
Assisting with patient positioning, mobility, and safety
Responding to emergencies and changes in patient status
Maintaining compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Participating in ongoing education, competency assessments, and quality initiatives
