Job description
St. David’s Medical Center in Austin seeks a Registered Nurse for the ICU and Emergency Float Pool. In this role you’ll provide high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill and emergent patients, floating between ICU and ED based on patient needs. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, stabilization, medication administration, coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and vigilant monitoring of complex conditions. You’ll educate patients and families, uphold safety and infection control standards, and contribute to quality improvement.
