About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the ICU at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
Requirements
Education: BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience: Six (6) months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
Telemetry certification is a plus
National certification is a plus
