Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute and Wolfson Children's Hospital.Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights. *New Hires eligible for a $5,000 Sign on Bonus*Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care.As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other conditionEmbrace and uphold the hospital mission statementEducate patients and families to their disease process and plan of careInteract with physicians and other departments within the hospitalCoordinate care provided by ancillary servicesAct as the patient advocateParticipate in staff meetings and other unit activitiesEducation/Degree Required:Associate of Science in Nursing OrDegree Preferred:Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)Experience:1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred1-2 years Telemetry ExperienceHospital ExperienceLicenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) PreferredConscious Sedation Certification PreferredCertified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) PreferredLicensed Registered Nurse RequiredPrimary Location:Clay - Main Building
