Job description
Nursing Position
Minimum of 2 years of experience required, including travel experience.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI (MAB accepted in place of CPI).
Must be comfortable working with the prison population.
Local candidates will be compensated at the same rate.
Holiday Policy
For all agency contracts starting in September, time off requests will not be approved for the following holidays:
Thanksgiving
Black Friday
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year's Eve
New Year's Day
Contract nurses are expected to participate in the holiday rotation and work 3 of these 6 holidays, based on their assigned holiday group. One group covers Thanksgiving, and the other covers Christmas. Nurses may arrange schedule swaps with peers, when possible, to accommodate personal preferences.
