Job Description
We are currently seeking a full‑time PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As a Preoperative and PACU RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the perioperative process, from pre‑operative assessment to post‑anesthesia care.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions throughout the perioperative period.
Provide post‑anesthesia care in the PACU, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Assess and manage pain, nausea, and other post‑operative symptoms.
Ensure patient and family education regarding post‑operative care.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date electronic health records (EHR).

Required Skills
Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of three years of nursing experience; perioperative or PACU experience preferred.
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced surgical environment.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
