About This Role
The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Schedule: Part-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes.
Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
Requirements
Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days
Telemetry certification preferred
ACLS preferred
National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
