Job description
St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant to provide expert breastfeeding support for mothers and infants in a full-service acute care setting. In this collaborative, patient-centered role, you will perform maternal–infant assessments, develop individualized lactation care plans, and deliver bedside education on breastfeeding techniques, pumping, and milk storage. You’ll partner with obstetric, neonatal, and pediatric teams, support staff training, and contribute to quality initiatives, benefiting from advanced clinical resources and strong professional development opportunities.
