Job description
Role Overview: This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse supporting a high-impact, multi-campus Med Surg team in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation to deliver personalized, evidence-based care.
Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
Drive top clinical outcomes using current best practices.
Foster a safe, respectful team environment, contribute to staff engagement, and participate in performance improvement, research, and governance initiatives.
Stay current with ongoing education, mentor colleagues, and support continuous professional growth.
Lead evidence-based practices, participate in patient care decisions, and support quality and safety initiatives.
Plan proactively across patient care, shape protocols to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions, and manage resources efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required), BSN preferred.
RN license (single state or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications (required); specialty certification preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and computer data entry skills.
Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technological skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, with strong critical thinking, time management, and decision-making abilities.
