Job description
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Med Surg RN supporting multiple campuses, dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that improves patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, building meaningful connections with patients and families.
Drive top-quality outcomes by applying clinical expertise and current best practices.
Foster a safe, respectful team environment, contributing to staff engagement and shared governance initiatives.
Mentor fellow nurses through ongoing education and competency assessments.
Lead evidence-based practices, participate in research, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Plan proactively for patient care, helping to develop protocols that enhance experiences and reduce readmissions.
Ensure efficient use of resources and contribute to system-wide care planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience with data entry proficiency.
Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and tech skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making abilities.
