Role Overview:
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care as a frontline member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while fostering a supportive environment. They serve as an advocate, communicate with patients, families, and staff, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care following policies and procedures.
Coordinate patient care, prioritize daily patient flow, and maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
Act as a patient advocate by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring family and staff communication.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
Maintain professional licenses and certifications, engage in ongoing training, and seek growth opportunities.
Mentor and support colleagues, promote a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), required upon hire.
1-2 years of Med Surg nursing experience is highly preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills.
