Role Overview: This position is for an experienced Med Surg RN supporting a high-impact, multi-campus care team. The RN will deliver personalized, evidence-based care, build meaningful patient and family relationships, and drive quality outcomes. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, fostering a safe and respectful environment, contributing to performance improvement projects, research, and shared governance. The role emphasizes professional development through ongoing education, mentorship, and applying evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and care tools. Resource management involves proactive planning across the patient care journey to improve experiences and reduce readmissions.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must have a graduate of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. A minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and familiarity with computer data entry are required, with preferred knowledge of Epic and 3M systems. Essential skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Critical thinking, time management, and a commitment to evidence-based practice are vital for success.
