About This Role
The Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical position at Hackensack Meridian Health involves delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Schedule: Part-time, Day shift
What You’ll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
Requirements
Education
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience
Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program
Licenses & Certifications
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
