About This Role
The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner.
Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
Requirements
Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience: 1+ years of nursing experience
Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required; BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required
