About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing practices and ensuring safe, individualized patient care. What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients to ensure safe transitions.
Requirements
Education
BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience
At least 1 year of nursing experience is required
Licenses & Certifications
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire
