Job description
Role
Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical unit, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments
Develop care plans
Administer medications
Perform wound care
Monitor post-surgical recovery
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families
Document in the EHR
Assist with safe discharge planning
Additional Duties
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Uphold infection control standards
Precept new staff
Support a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on professional growth
Qualifications & Skills
Strong clinical skills, ability to work effectively within a team, excellent communication, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and adherence to safety standards are essential.
