Job description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced medical-surgical unit with 15 beds, expandable to 20 , serving adult patients over 17 years old with diverse diagnoses.
Key responsibilities
Include performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety through adherence to safety protocols.
The RN will delegate tasks to healthcare team members, document care accurately, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Qualifications
Include an active RN license, BLS certification (within 30 days), and completion of nursing education.
Skills and duties
Involve using assessment tools, IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, wound vacs, tube feeding pumps, and electronic medical records. Critical thinking, excellent communication, time management, and teamwork are essential for success.
