Position Details
Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments - guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.
Assignment Duration and Start Date
Winter staffing needs
8-week assignment
Start date: 12/08 only
No more than three days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted
Shift
12-hour night shift, every other weekend required.
Requirements
Epic experience is required.
This unit does not have Tele Techs; all RNs must be able to read and interpret their own cardiac strips.
Passing a pass/fail ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test during onboarding is mandatory.
Tests include Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions), administered via Zoom Protector meeting prior to acceptance.
RNs must test within 48 hours of confirmation.
Passing score is 85%; no retakes or remediation allowed.
Preparation is strongly recommended using the provided study guide with tips and answers.
Qualifications
Minimum education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum experience: 2+ years recent acute Medical-Surgical nursing with telemetry experience.
License: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Certifications: CPR and ACLS required.
Epic experience required.
Additional Information
Local candidates are accepted at a rate lower than travel rates.
