About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Mental Health Inpatient Unit provides individualized patient care and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to support adults seeking treatment for acute mental health issues. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Schedule: Part-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices based on evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions.
Requirements
Education:
Current and valid RN license in the State of New Jersey is required
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program
At least 2 years of psychiatric or mental health nursing experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
