Job description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a Neurosurgical ICU . The role involves caring for critically ill patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, intracranial hemorrhage, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical cases. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients on ventilators, titratable drips, intracranial pressure monitoring, and performing detailed neurological assessments. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications include:**
Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
At least one year of acute nursing experience
Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
