Job description
Role Overview:
The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and satisfaction. The role involves performing direct patient treatments, medications, and diagnostics, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
Coordinate patient education, discharge planning, and family support
Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures according to policies
Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient response
Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff to meet patient needs
Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure safety standards
Participate in evidence-based practice and unit decision-making
Engage in quality and safety programs to improve care standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have graduate training in specialty nursing, with strong critical thinking, attention to detail, calmness under stress, integrity, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
