About This Role
The Registered Nurse NICU at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn is responsible for nursing care and outcomes for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process in collaboration with the health team. This role is ideal for experienced NICU nurses who are committed to patient safety and quality care.

Pay : $125,281.64 - $155,281.64 Annually

Schedule : Full-Time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Perform other duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization.
Demonstrate personal accountability for professional practice and growth.
Document patient assessment, reassessment, and progress toward goal achievement accurately and timely.
Promote patient safety and quality, including adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members, escalating situations appropriately.
Establish effective caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, including blood administration.
Establish priorities for patient care delivery and coordinate patient care responsibilities.
Provide patient/family education and assist in discharge planning.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on patient criteria.
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, BSN preferred
Experience
3-5 years NICU experience required
Licenses & Certifications
Current Registered Nurse License in NYS
BLS Certification required
NRP required within 6 months
