Job Description
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical RN experience in a level III Intensive Care Nursery with a surgical patient population
Proficiency in providing care for the extreme low birth weight infants and neonates with congenital anomalies such as Pre-Operative Congenital Heart Disease
This position requires flexibilityto orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN)
Licensure/Certifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Current healthcare provider CPR certification
Current healthcare provider NRP certification
