About This Role
The Registered Nurse - Nights position at Northwell Health involves providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a healthcare team.

Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Assess the patient's physiologic health status through interviews and chart reviews.
Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition to adjust care plans.
Communicate and document patient's health status and plan of care.
Develop criteria for measuring patient outcomes and identify potential problems.
Formulate and document the plan of care, coordinating with healthcare team members.
Implement the plan of care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Administer prescribed treatments and medications accurately and safely.
Collaborate with care team members to plan and carry out treatment regimens.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health conditions and care.
Perform related duties as required.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry Experience highly preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
