About This Role
The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for those looking to expand their knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
Adhere to established protocols and document care events.
Requirements
Education:
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience:
Six (6) months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
Licenses & Certifications:
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required
Telemetry certification is a plus
