Job description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A respected healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to support surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care. This contract position is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are dedicated to patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Valid and unrestricted RN license
Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Operating Room RN
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and perioperative nursing standards
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures in the Operating Room
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery
Ensure all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and functioning
Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
Accurately document nursing care and patient responses
Advocate for patient needs and maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
Provide emotional support to patients and families

$2,001 - $2,189/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
