Job description
Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. They utilize technology, evidence-based practices, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and address patients’ physical and psychological needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
Oversee care provided by LPNs and CNAs, participating in clinical team conferences.
Follow regulatory, hospital, and professional guidelines and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred or required within four years unless exempted by experience.
Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to operate monitors, assess patient needs, and communicate effectively.
Manual dexterity for handling equipment and supplies.
Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist with patient mobility.
Additional Details:
The role involves full-time work with variable shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, with shift differentials.
