Job description
This role is for a registered nurse on the NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit, a 41-bed, fast-paced environment specializing in acute orthopedic and urology surgical patient care, including trauma cases.
Key responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Manage surgical devices and wound appliances
Coordinate patient care with physicians and therapists
Skills and resources
Use of wound vacs
Drains
Traction devices
Orthotic equipment
Telemetry monitoring
Qualifications
Valid RN license
BLS certification
High school diploma or GED
Relevant experience
Ideal candidates demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective communication, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in departmental education.
Compensation ranges from $38.93 to $63.35 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.
