Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a;
Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays\ N

All Acute CareAdult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.\ N

Primary Patient Population:\ N
Medical
\ N Post-Surgical
Trauma- Level 3 Trauma Center
\ N
Primaryskills utilized/learned:\ N
IV insertions, blood draws, post-surgical care
\ N Telemetry monitoring
\ N Time management, critical thinking, delegating
\ N
Personnel RN will work with:\ N
LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy
\ N
Number of beds on unit:\ N
15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed
\ N

Required Qualifications:\ N
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
\ N Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
\ N Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
\ N PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
\ N PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
\ N
Preferred Qualifications:\ N
BSN
\ N Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
\ N
