nAbbott's Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies. In this role, you will provide personalized Face-2-Face® training to Acelis Connected Health's home testing customers on obtaining a finger stick blood sample, operating the PT/INR products and reporting responsibilities. The position of trainer is per-diem and state/city specific.
nThis job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.
nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nThe Trainer will:
nnnRemotely set up training appointment directly with the customer/caregiver
n
nnTravel to the customers home setting within the general geographic location of the Trainer's home
n
nnDemonstrate and instruct the customer and/or their caregiver on the proper use and care of the PT/INR equipment.
n
nnExplain test reporting options
n
nnCommunicate and present themselves in a professional manner
n
nnAccurately document and submit patient training records electronically
n
nnMaintain communications with Acelis Connected Health by cell phone, email and internet access
n
nnUtilize secure encrypted email to communicate anything that includes customers PHI
n
nnHave reliable transportation
n
n nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
nnnThe Trainer must have clinical experience. Current Registered Nurse.
n
nnDirect experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred
n
nnHealth education training experience a definite plus
n
nnNo lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance
n
n nCOMPETENCIES/ EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
nnnCompletion of assigned educational prerequisites required
n
nnProof of health screening documentation
n
nnWeb based and interactive training provided by Acelis Connected Health
n
nnSuccessful completion of a consumer report (background check) and pre-employment drug screening
n
nnComputer and Smart Device proficiency
n
nnOwn a computer personal Laptop or Desktop computer to complete company requirements if needed
n
nnHave access to a printer
n
nnProficient in basic website and application troubleshooting using smart device
n
nnTravel a minimum of 100 miles roundtrip required
n
nnFlorida trainers only - there is an additional background step required for the state of Florida.

nThe base pay for this position is $22.45 - $44.85 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
