Position Overview
Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities
Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Additional Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health, you will: Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital Coordinate care provided by ancillary services Act as the patient advocate Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Education / Degree
Education/Degree Required: Associate of Science in Nursing
Or Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
Experience
Experience: 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred 1-2 years Telemetry Experience Hospital Experience
Licenses and Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Primary Location: Clay - Main Building
Diploma Nurses
Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
