Facility: Ascension Peyton Manning Children's Hospital
Department/Specialty: Pediatric/Cardiac ICU
Schedule: FT Day
How you’ll make an impact in this role
Cardiac Monitoring & Assessment: Perform hemodynamic and continuous cardiac monitoring for post-op pediatric heart surgery and congenital heart defect patients.
Advanced Mechanical & Pharmacological Support: Manage ECMO, VADs, and complex vasoactive infusions for critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.
Post-Surgical Critical Care: Deliver post-operative recovery care, managing ventilators, pacemakers, chest tubes, and invasive lines.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with cardiologists and surgeons to deliver family-centered critical care.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing preferred.
Additional Preference
1 year of cumulative job specific experience required
Pediatric Open Heart experience .
